To learm more about National Risk Management Week, available research grants, educational scholarships, a new ASHRM Patient Safety Portal, and the national conference visit the ASHRM website.

Risk Management Week: Healthcare Risk Management week is June 18-22, 2012.  This year’s theme is Getting to Zero™ through the Power of One.”

Research Grants: ASHRM is seeking research proposals from healthcare professionals, faculty members, or graduate students investigating healthcare risk management and patient safety topics.  Research proposals are due June 15, 2012.

Scholarships: ASHRM is dedicated to supporting the professional and scholastic development of current and prospective risk management and patient safety professionals.  Applications for scholarships are due July 9, 2012.

Patient Safety Portal: ASHRM has launched a new Patient Safety Portal that includes links to valuable tools and resources you can use all year.

National Conference: The ASHRM National Conference will be held in Washington D.C. this year October 7-10, 2012.
