ISHRM Education Conference:

The 2012 ISHRM Board is working hard to plan interesting, valuable and timely conferences in 2012. Stay tuned to the website for dates, times and speaker information.

The Winter Education Conference was held on Friday, December 2, 2011 at Fairbanks Hall on the IU Health Campus.  ISHRM was very excited to bring national risk management expert Fay Rozovsky to our conference along with Dr. Alfredo Lopez-Yunez, Gina Thompson, and Betsy Lee.  Topics covered included: Accountable Care Organizations, Social Media in Healthcare, Caring for the Latino Patient, CMS Supervision Rule and Indiana Patient Safety.

The conference was well attended and comments were extremely positive. David Stach from Parkview Health was awarded the Glenn Troyer Outstanding Risk Manager Award for 2011. The new ISHRM Board was announced. Please see the Board page on this website to get updates.
